Habitat: In dense clumps in wet sand at semi-shaded edge of titi woodland. Plant Morphology Observations: Robust plants with spikelets 4-4.8 mm long (as in R. stenophylla) but bristles 2/3 or less the achene length. Local Abundance Observations: Frequent in dense clumps.
