Habitat: in stand of planted slash pine on sand ridge - with scrub oaks; plants of P. serotina susp. serotina in near vicinity in full leaf and at latter stages of blooming. Plant Morphology Observations: Bark of trunk light gray. Notes: I have never seen this tree weedy on fence or hedge rows. RKG.
