Verbatim Directions to Locality: About 4 miles north of Hampstead and about 9 miles south of Hollyridge on Route 17.
Habitat: Common in sand barrens.
Plant Morphology Observations: Dominated by turkey oak(Q.laevis) and Longleaf pine (P.australis).
Local Abundance Observations: Low bunchy shrub about 0.8 m. high.
