Verbatim Directions to Locality: along Sharer Rd in N part of Tallahassee.
Habitat: in Quercus nigra.
Plant Morphology Observations: descriptions list taxon with unisexual flowers, but this appears bisexual--flowers with 3 tepals each bearing a pollen-producing stamen surrounding pistil with prominent stigma and enlarged ovary {pollen, though copious, may be sterile, and ovary may abort?).
Local Abundance Observations: blown down by wind from large cluster.
