Special Geographical Unit: Apalachicola National Forest
Verbatim Directions to Locality: slope above Dog Lake, Apalachicola National Forest.
Habitat: on steep sparsely wooded slope above Dog Lake; trees on the slope mostly oaks: Quercus laevis, Q. incana, Q. geminata, Q. laurifolia.
Plant Morphology Observations: Plant much branched, ca 6 dm tall and as broad.
Local Abundance Observations: Only one plant of the Solanum seen.
Notes: Only one plant of the Solanum seen and I totally destroyed it in making herbarium specimens. The species is said to be a noxious weed in pastures and such in southern penisular Florida.
