Verbatim Directions to Locality: at Flat Creek Landing on the Apalachicola River just S of I-10 bridge, ca. 4.5 air mi SW of Chattahoochee.
Habitat: in mud of shaded floodplain with C. blanda, C. crebriflora, C. gracilescens (abundant), and C. typhina at Flat Creek Landing.
Plant Morphology Observations: Perigynia 9mm long!
Local Abundance Observations: infrequent.
Notes: Loran C. Anderson - The variety apparently new to Florida.
