Verbatim Directions to Locality: Crossing of fla. rte 17 and Atlantic Coast Line railroad, south-east of Sebring.
Habitat: Yellow sand dry ridge with open shrubby covering of [Quercus] chapmanii, Q. geminata, Sabal etonia, Befaria racemosa, Chionanthus pygmaea, and Cyrilla arida; bordered by low wet wood with small blackgum, Ilex cassine, and magnolia bay.
Plant Morphology Observations: shrubs mostly 2 m. tall.
Local Abundance Observations: scattered.
