| Habitat: | at Turtle Mound (ancient kitchen midden); heavily vegetated shell mound about 7 m. high, 100 m. long along Mosquito Lagoon. Woody overstory mostly of Celtis, Exothia paniculata, Xanthoxylum Fagara, Persea littoralis, Ardisia escallonioides, Rapanea guianensis, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Plumbago scandens, Bumelia and Forestiera. Common along narrow beach, base of mound. |
