Habitat: In an extremely briery upland old field Plant Morphology Observations: Leaves limber, the young ones having both surfaces glaucous, older ones having both surfaces glaucous, older ones somewhat grayish green. Inflorescence 2.7 m tall (stalk plus panicle), stalk and inflorescence axes green, the bracts on the stalk red basally and exteriorly.
