| Plant Morphology Observations: | stem very heavily leafy, 1 m below inflorescence; fully grown leaves mostly 8-10 dm long, strongly bluish green-glaucous at first, later becoming somewhat grayish green, glaucousness hardened and scarcely evident; stalk of panicle (below lowest inflor. branches) 7 dm, with several bracteal leaves; panicle elliptical in outline, 11 dm high, 4 dm across medially; stalk of panicle 4 cm in diameter at base. |
