Habitat: In well drained longleaf pine flatwoods, control burned in late winter 1990; (Q. minima thinly cloned between thickly cloned Q. pumila).
Plant Morphology Observations: stems growing extremely thickly in very numerous large clones.
Local Abundance Observations: clones abundant over a large area.
