Habitat: Rich woodland grading into wet woodland, head of Wacissa Springs.
Plant Morphology Observations: Lateral petals bearded toward the base with clavate hairs. Bases of petals greenish white, this part especially in the spurred petal strongly violet-veined, other parts of petals deep violet at first, fading to pale violet; corolla about doubling in size from first anthesis until beginning to shrivel.
