Verbatim Directions to Locality: In slash pine plantation on a slight ridge, in Wetappo Creek Road (essentially a logging road) 4.2 miles S of Fla. Rd 22 (that runs westerly from Wewahitchka toward Panama City) and generally toward Overstreet.
Habitat: In slash pine plantation on a slight ridge.
Plant Morphology Observations: Fourteen clumps of the Yucca in a relatively small area, all at about their height of bloom. Plant from which specimen made: leaves grayish green, inflorescence (stalk plus panicle) 3 m, stalk 1.7 m long to the lowest panicle branch. Tepals thickish, each arched outward then inward at full anthesis, thus the perianth appearing essentially ball-like and enclosing the stamens and pistil. Longest leaves 9dm.
