| Plant Morphology Observations: | Fourteen clumps of the Yucca in a relatively small area, all at about their height of bloom. Plant from which specimen made: leaves grayish green, inflorescence (stalk plus panicle) 3 m, stalk 1.7 m long to the lowest panicle branch. Tepals thickish, each arched outward then inward at full anthesis, thus the perianth appearing essentially ball-like and enclosing the stamens and pistil. Longest leaves 9dm. |
