Verbatim Directions to Locality: Between Brotherhood Way and Parkmerced Common, San Francisco.
Habitat: In small park. Neighboring trees were Pinus radiata and Acacia melanoxylon.
Plant Morphology Observations: Fr. not fully mature: glaucous green shaded with purplish brown. Lfts. pale whitish or glaucous gray-green. Green of branchlets glaucescent. Branching began at ca. 5 ft. Rounded crown was ca. 25 ft. tall; max. spread ca. 35 ft. Some outermost branches drooped somewhat--to within 4 ft. of ground. Bark of larger branches and trunk greenish gray to gray, only slightly roughened, with inconspicuous longitudinal stripes of darker gray separating others of a paler gray. DBH ca. 11 in.
