Verbatim Directions to Locality: St. George Island, on the southern end of Nick's Hole.
Latitude - degree with decimals: 29.64075
Longitude - degree with decimals: -84.91557
Habitat: Plants at the edge of a brackish bayou that opens on the north into Apalachicola Bay. Plants washed at base by brackish water. Associates at and near this site: Sabal palmetto, Sporobolus virginicus, Juniperus virginiana, Iva frutescens, Juncus roemerianus, Ilex vomitoria Quercus geminata, Pinus elliottii, Borrichia frutescens, Cyanchum, Ipomoea sagittata, Solidago sempervirens, Toxocodendron radicans.
Plant Morphology Observations: Multi-stemmed plants, some with at least one main stem 10-12" dbh. Foliage appearing grayish from a distance.
Local Abundance Observations: Approximately a dozen large, multi-stemmed plants.
