Verbatim Directions to Locality: Apalachicola R., just off US highway 90 on outskirts of Chatahoochee.
Habitat: on slopes of Apalachicola River; full shade, moist sandy-loam.
Plant Morphology Observations: petals maroon, sepals maroon on inner face, pale green on outer face.
