Verbatim Directions to Locality: sand ridge south of Bogia on Hwy. 29.
Habitat: Seems to grow on a wide range of sites-from sand ridges to branch bottoms. Forest types: Sandhill scrub oak (some wiregrass). Associated Species: Quercus laevis, Pinus palustris, Quercus spp. Topography: slope toward branch, broken by highway. Soil:deep Lakeland sand.
Plant Morphology Observations: shrub or small tree.
Local Abundance Observations: common.
