Verbatim Directions to Locality: ca. 3 miles north of Wall Springs, south of Tarpon Springs.
Habitat: secondary sand hill oak wood with long leaf pine, turkey oak, bluejack oak, Seronoa repens, Q. geminata, Q. myrtifolia, Q. chapmanii, Stillingia, Aristida, with occasional Certiola, and hupinus [Lupinus], Chrysobalanus oblongifolius and Myrica pusilla.
Plant Morphology Observations: shrubs to 1 m tall; flrs. cymose; corolla pubescent.
Local Abundance Observations: scattered.
